4.4    The hosting facilities for our website are situated in Belgium.

5.      Retaining and deleting personal data

5.1    This Section 5 sets out our data retention policies and procedure, which are designed to help ensure that we comply with our legal obligations in relation to the retention and deletion of personal data.

5.2    Personal data that we process for any purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes.

5.3    We will retain your personal data resulting from newsletter subscriptions, event registrations, participation in trainings, downloads via our website and any other service offered by LD & Co for which you filled out a registration form, until you unsubscribe.

5.4    An “unsubscribe” link is provided at the bottom of each webpage of the LD & Co website.

5.5    Your personal data will be adjusted or deleted upon simple request, addressed to info@ld-co.com or sent via the link provided on the LD &Co website. Request are handled within 5 working days following the reception of this request.

5.6    Notwithstanding the other provisions of this Section 5, we may retain your personal data where such retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person.

7.      Cookies that we use

7.1    Only an Analytics cookie is used on this website to help us to analyse the use and performance of our website and services.

7.2    This website uses Google Analytics. Google Analytics gathers information about the use of our website by means of cookies. The information gathered is used to create reports about the use of our website. Google Analytics provides important statistics on the number of visitors, the pages visited, the traffic sources and other essential information with which we can continuously improve this website for users. These statistics are anonymous and cannot be traced to a specific person or user. No use is made of "behavioral targeting" with which you get to see special content based on your click behavior; your surfing behavior remains completely anonymous. Data from contact forms are never processed or stored in Analytics.

7.3    We have set up Google Analytics in accordance with privacy legislation, so that no prior permission from the user is required.

7.4    IP addresses are masked and data is not shared. The Google Analytics cookie is a "first party cookie", which means that the cookie is officially owned by LD & Co and not by Google. This cookie is not used for advertisements or other commercial purposes. LD & Co has a processing agreement with Google. In addition, Google Analytics is set up so that IP addresses are made anonymous, so that data can never be traced back to you or your IP address. Furthermore, no information is shared with Google or other parties from the Analytics account of LD & Co. This makes the Analytics cookie from LD & Co a non-privacy sensitive first-party cookie that is needed to guarantee the quality and safety of LD & Co.be. The Analytics cookie is valid for 6 months.

7.5    Opt-out: If you prefer to block the Analytics script completely, you can download an opt-out plugin for Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. With this plugin your visit will no longer be included in the statistics of all websites that use Google Analytics.
